The trust is run by a team of committed professionals interested in the welfare of the community. Those who are determined to protect society, the progress of society, and protect our mother nature.
GET is located in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. We are serving the needy and helpless people with joy and love. We are a non-profit organization that works in society to improve the lives of children, women, the elderly, and vulnerable people. Our sustainable and holistic interventions in health, livelihoods, education, disaster relief, and resilience provide innovative solutions to deep-rooted development problems. Two-thirds of India’s population lives below the poverty line. The weakest members of Indian society are the poor.

The combination of strong willpower, ceaseless efforts & determination to bring the ethos of the society is changing the social needs& urging towards a concept of self-reliance among villagers, irrespective of caste, creed, sex & religion.
OUR focus
“Gajnan Educational Trust” main focus is to guide the helpless women, and children & engaging them in productive activities, guiding the youth of backward areas towards a constructive direction & utilizing their & effort for the development of backward areas & also engaging the people of the locality towards sustainable economic development.
“Gajnan Educational Trust” aims to establish a people organization that will help in empowering them to work collectively with more self-confidence for their own development. Its objective is to organize people to fight for social justice, promote gender equality promote community involvement for sustainable development.
Aims & Objectives
The Main Objective of the society is to make development-oriented programs for minorities, Social Services for Women, and Create Re-habilitation centers for orphans, Handicapped, and old age people and to literate, the poor, Disable, Desirable, Rural and Tribal People of Odisha and to raise the level of consciousness of the people in the field of education, Environment and health, through various programs aimed at raising the educational standard in general.
Secondly, with Particular emphasis on the poorer & disable section of people in the rural area
The most important objective as far as social development is concerned is to promote awareness among poor, disabled, orphan rural people of Odisha through different development programs in various fields and raise their standard of living.
- To Undertake different programmes in agricultural fields.
- To organize different health programmes to help the people and increase consciousness among the people.
- To undertake different training and Programmes in different educational fields i.e vocational, technical and other.
- To create environmental consciousness amongst the people through various programmes.
- To undertake different programmes for the development of women in all fields.
- To open old age homes for the welfare of old men and women.
- To provide rehabilitation for the welfare of disabled persons and other rural peoples.
- To provide sanitary, and electrical facilities for the rural areas.
- To guide the parents of pre-schooled disabled children at their home and to make them understand about education and future prospect of their children.
- To provide assistance to people with endurable natural calamities and help them take preventive measures during the actual occurance of natural disasters.
- To undertake/opening residential primary schools / middle schools / secondary schools, non-residential schools, hostels, ITI, Art & craft center, or any other income-generating scheme for schedule caste/ schedule tribe children.
- To undertake and organize BALWADIs and balkendrasi. e creates to look after the deprived children of SC/ST.
- To undertake and provide medical facilities to SC?ST through the establishment of a mobile dispensary.
- To undertake various programmes for improvement in the conditions of child labourers.
